Meenu Kaur Singh

Stanford d.school
Learning Experience Designer
Meenu creates learning experiences that bring design thinking and other creative problem-solving methods to learners across disciplines. She spent the past 5 years designing, teaching, and experimenting with curriculum at the University of Maryland. She has been a core member of the University Innovation Fellows Teaching & Learning Studio Workshop teaching team since 2016, where she has developed new curricula and has worked with 400+ university educators and administrators from around the world. Meenu has coached teams at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school) Designing for Social Systems workshop, where she is currently an instructional design intern. In September 2019, Meenu taught the Stanford Graduate Summer Institute (SGSI) course “Adventures in Design Thinking,” where the team experimented with a new framing to introduce students to design thinking related to modes of learning.

Outside of the education space, Meenu designs with government agencies, private companies, and nonprofit organizations seeking to reinvigorate their modes of thinking and doing. Currently, Meenu is a part of the Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT) Master’s program at the Graduate School of Education. Meenu is inspired by the creative potential that exists in you, you — and yes, even you!
