Diana joins us from Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School in Palo Alto, where she taught second grade. After earning her degree in elementary education with a concentration in math from the University of Wisconsin, Diana began her teaching career as a Montessori teacher in Chicago, where she taught for 11 years. When she and her husband moved to California, Diana stepped away from the classroom to raise her own children. She returned to teaching fulltime in 2010. Outside of the classroom, Diana teaches fitness classes at the YMCA in Mountain View. She also serves as a b’nei mitzvah tutor, helping students prepare their Torah portions. She loves the farmer’s market, exploring Bay Area restaurants, hiking, and biking. And she’s a big Bay Area sports fan!
